Needles vs. redness: acupuncture put to the test for rosacea sufferers
NCT ID NCT07296497
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether acupuncture can safely reduce facial redness and flushing in people with rosacea that hasn't improved with standard treatments. About 104 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either real acupuncture or a sham (fake) procedure. The main goal is to see if real acupuncture leads to clearer skin and fewer flare-ups.
