Needles vs. nausea: acupuncture tested to ease Radiation's harsh side effects

Summary

This study is testing whether adding acupuncture to standard care can help reduce the immediate side effects of radiation therapy for head and neck cancer. It will involve 60 patients currently undergoing radiation who are experiencing symptoms. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard supportive care alone or standard care plus acupuncture sessions.
