First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether ear acupuncture, combined with mindfulness therapy (like yoga and breathing exercises), can reduce emotional distress in 66 active-duty service members and veterans with PTSD. Participants receive small needles placed in the ears that fall out naturally, plus relaxation techniques. The goal is to see if this approach improves mood, sleep, alcohol use, and pain.
