Needles vs. pain: acupuncture tested for Post-Surgery relief

NCT ID NCT07340307

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific type of acupuncture can help reduce pain after anal surgery. Researchers are observing 58 patients who have had surgery to see if wrist-ankle acupuncture works better for different kinds of pain, like muscle spasms or incision pain. All patients receive standard pain care, and the acupuncture is added when their pain reaches a certain level to see if it provides extra relief.
