Needles and mindfulness: military tests ancient technique for modern stress
NCT ID NCT06044714
Summary
This study tested whether adding a specific type of acupuncture to a standard mindfulness therapy could better help military service members and veterans manage stress and improve their overall health. Researchers compared two groups: one received both acupuncture and mindfulness therapy, while the other received only mindfulness therapy. The goal was to see if the combined approach was more effective at reducing feelings of stress.
