Needle power: can ancient acupuncture ease modern neck pain?
NCT ID NCT03859011
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether adding acupuncture to standard medical care (like pain medication) works better for reducing chronic neck pain than standard care alone. It involved 75 adults with long-term neck pain and also looked at whether acupuncture is a cost-effective treatment option. The goal was to gather information to plan a larger future study.
