Summary
This study tests if acupuncture at a specific point (Yanglingquan) can quickly relieve pain from biliary colic, a sharp pain caused by gallstones or gallbladder inflammation. Researchers will compare acupuncture to standard drug therapy in 248 adults with acute cholecystitis. The goal is to see if acupuncture offers a safe, fast alternative for pain relief.
