Needles for newborns? study tests ancient remedy for colic
NCT ID NCT05894798
Summary
This study aimed to see if a gentle form of acupuncture could help reduce crying and ease symptoms in babies with colic. Parents would track their baby's crying, feeding, and sleep in a diary. The babies would have been randomly assigned to receive either a brief acupuncture treatment or no treatment, with parents not knowing which group their child was in. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
