Ancient meets modern: electric acupuncture tested to reboot Stroke-Damaged brains

Summary

This study is testing if a combination of electroacupuncture and brain stimulation can help control thinking and memory problems that often occur after a stroke. Researchers will enroll 340 stroke survivors in China who have developed cognitive impairment. The goal is to see if this non-drug therapy can improve daily function and quality of life by targeting the brain's activity.
