Virtual reality vs. needles: can tech calm Kids' blood test fears?
NCT ID NCT07400874
Summary
This study aims to see if simple, non-drug methods can make blood draws easier for children. Researchers will test acupressure, listening to music, and using virtual reality goggles on 120 kids aged 5-10 to see which best reduces their pain, fear, and anxiety during the procedure. The goal is to find better ways to help children cope with this common medical experience.
