NCT ID NCT07277725

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested whether acupressure—a gentle finger pressure on specific body points—could improve sleep in 75 elderly people living in care homes. Participants received 12 sessions over four weeks. Results showed better sleep quality, less time to fall asleep, and reduced daytime sleepiness. Acupressure may be a safe, drug-free way to support better sleep in older adults.
