Zapping away surgery sickness: can ancient acupoints boost modern meds?

Summary
This study is testing if adding a mild, painless electrical stimulation on specific wrist and hand pressure points (acupoints) can work better than standard triple-drug therapy alone at preventing nausea and vomiting after surgery. It will involve 780 women at high risk for this problem who are having laparoscopic surgery. Researchers will compare the real stimulation to a fake version to see if it makes a difference.
