Quick workday exercises aim to get sedentary drivers moving

NCT ID NCT06880211

Summary

This study tested whether providing bus and tram drivers with short, simple exercises to do during their shifts could help them sit less and move more at work. Seventy drivers were randomly assigned to either try these 'activity snippets' for 16 weeks or just receive standard physical activity advice. Researchers measured changes in activity levels, strength, stress, and overall well-being to see if the brief exercises made a difference.
