Can playtime boost young minds? study tests movement program for preschoolers

NCT ID NCT05949866

Summary

This study is testing whether a teacher-led movement and play program can help improve thinking skills in preschool children from low-income backgrounds. Researchers are working with 112 children aged 3-5 to see if six months of structured physical activities four days a week affects memory, focus, and motor skills. The main goal is to see if this type of program is practical for preschools to run and if it shows early signs of helping children's brain development.
