First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests a new powered knee prosthesis for people who have lost a leg above the knee. The goal is to see if it makes walking easier, improves control, and feels more like a natural limb. Seven adults aged 22-65 with a single leg amputation will use the device in a lab setting to measure effort and movement.
