First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether helping childcare teachers and staff encourage more physical activity can improve how well children aged 2 to 6 move and stay active. About 1,000 children and their teachers from 18 daycare and preschool centers will take part. Half the centers will get special training and support, while the other half will continue as usual, so researchers can compare the results.
