10-Minute classroom workouts may sharpen young minds

Summary

This study looks at whether 10-minute bursts of exercise during the school day can help 11-12 year old children think better, be more creative, and feel happier. About 114 students will be randomly assigned to do aerobic exercise, strength exercises, or a seated activity. Researchers will measure attention, memory, creativity, and emotional state after these breaks to find simple ways to improve learning and well-being in school.
