Doctors track hip implant movement to improve surgery results

NCT ID NCT04879732

Summary

This study followed 64 patients with hip osteoarthritis who received the ACTIS hip replacement implant. Researchers used special X-ray imaging to measure how much the implant settled into the bone over 2 years after surgery. They compared three different surgical approaches and tracked patients' pain levels, mobility, and satisfaction to understand which methods work best.
