First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at how much the ACTIS hip stem moves (subsides) within the first two years after hip replacement surgery. Researchers used special X-ray techniques to measure this movement in 64 adults with hip osteoarthritis. The goal was to compare these results with known patterns for similar hip stems and to see if the surgical approach affects movement.
