New hope for kids with devastating brain cancer

Summary
This study is testing an oral medication called ACT001 in children and young adults with two types of aggressive brain tumors: diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) and H3K27-altered high-grade glioma (HGG). The main goals are to see if the drug is safe and if it helps patients live longer or shrink their tumors. Participants will take the drug in 28-day cycles for up to two years if they are benefiting from it.
