Summary
This pilot study looks at whether a special hospital unit program can reduce the number of times patients with high blood pressure (but no symptoms) are given new or stronger blood pressure medicines. The goal is to gather information needed to design a larger study on how treating high blood pressure in the hospital affects patient outcomes. The study involves 4 participants and focuses on medical units that do not typically care for step-down patients.
