Sleep apnea and heart disease: new study aims to predict risks
NCT ID NCT07398430
First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study explores why people with both acute coronary syndrome (a serious heart condition) and obstructive sleep apnea have worse outcomes. Researchers will analyze blood samples from 1,200 adults to find metabolic clues and build an AI model that predicts future heart or brain events. The goal is to improve personalized care, not to test a new treatment.
