New acne cream faces major test in large clinical trial
NCT ID NCT07457294
Summary
This study aims to see if a new cream called 1% Clascoterone is effective and safe for treating moderate to severe acne. About 692 participants aged 12 and older will apply the cream or a placebo (an identical cream with no active drug) to their face twice a day for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in acne severity and count the number of pimples and blackheads to see if the new cream works better than the placebo.
