Scientists peek inside skin to see how acne cream works
NCT ID NCT06425900
Summary
This study aims to understand how a prescription acne cream (clascoterone 1%) works by looking at changes in facial oil glands. Researchers will take small skin samples and analyze facial oil from 10 adults with moderate acne before and after 3 months of treatment. The goal is to see if the cream shrinks oil glands and changes the makeup of skin oil.
