Face-Off: which treatment erases acne scars better?
NCT ID NCT07189923
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common cosmetic treatments works better for improving the appearance of acne scars. 116 adult participants with moderate to severe acne scars will have one side of their face treated with a fractional CO2 laser and the other side treated with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections followed by microneedling. Researchers will compare the results after three treatment sessions to see which method is more effective, safer, and leads to higher patient satisfaction.
