Summary

This study tests a treatment called photodynamic therapy (PDT) for adults with moderate to severe acne. It uses a special gel (Ameluz®) and a red light lamp to target acne lesions. About 126 participants will receive either the active treatment or a placebo gel to see if it safely reduces breakouts. The goal is to measure improvement in inflammatory acne and overall skin clarity.
