Summary

This study tested whether a generic version of tretinoin gel works as well as the brand-name Retin-A Micro for treating acne. Over 1,000 people aged 12 to 40 with mild to moderate acne took part. The goal was to see if the generic gel is equally safe and effective at reducing pimples and blackheads.
