First seen Dec 15, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether certain fat molecules (ceramides and S1P) in the blood are different in people with acne compared to healthy people. Researchers will collect blood samples from 80 participants (40 with acne, 40 without) and measure these molecules. The goal is to learn more about what causes acne, not to test a new treatment.
