NCT ID NCT07142369
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study looks at whether draining excess fluid from the knee or injecting a substance from the patient's own blood (platelet-rich plasma) can lower inflammation after a sudden ACL tear. About 99 people aged 18-50 who need ACL surgery will take part. The goal is to see if these treatments reduce harmful chemicals linked to cartilage damage and improve recovery.
