First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at two treatments for people with a sudden ACL tear and knee swelling: draining excess joint fluid or injecting a blood-derived substance called PRP. The goal is to see if either approach can lower harmful chemicals linked to cartilage damage before surgery. About 99 adults aged 18 to 50 who need ACL reconstruction will take part.
