New ACL surgery technique aims for better knee recovery

NCT ID NCT05364398

Summary

This study compared two ways of performing ACL reconstruction surgery. Researchers wanted to see if preserving the torn ligament's stump during surgery leads to better knee stability, function, and recovery compared to removing it completely. They followed 120 patients with recent ACL tears, measuring their knee function and activity levels after surgery.
