Knee surgery stitch could prevent common complication
NCT ID NCT07236593
Summary
This study tested if a new stitching technique during ACL knee surgery leads to better long-term results. Researchers compared two surgery methods in 190 patients with recent ACL tears to see if stitching the leftover ligament tissue reduces unwanted bone widening around the surgical tunnel. Patients were followed for one year with CT scans to measure changes in the bone.
