Can your brain relearn your knee? study tracks recovery after ACL surgery

Summary

This study aims to understand how people regain their sense of body position and balance after knee ligament reconstruction surgery. Researchers will follow 34 patients for 9 months after their ACL surgery, measuring their balance and confidence in returning to sports. The goal is to learn how the brain adapts during recovery to help improve future rehabilitation programs.
