Massive study follows thousands of ACL patients for decades

NCT ID NCT00463099

Summary

This study is tracking 3,294 people who had ACL reconstruction surgery to understand what factors affect their long-term recovery. Researchers are following patients for 2 to 20 years after surgery to identify what patient characteristics, injury details, and surgical decisions lead to better or worse outcomes. The goal is to help doctors better predict recovery and guide treatment decisions for future ACL patients.
