First seen Jun 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to numb the knee after ACL reconstruction surgery. 90 adults received either an anterior sciatic nerve block or a newer adductor magnus muscle plane block, both combined with a standard adductor canal block. The goal was to see which method better reduces pain and the need for opioid painkillers after surgery.
