Knee surgery study tests if using one tendon works as well as two
NCT ID NCT03433170
Summary
This study compared two surgical techniques for repairing torn ACL knee ligaments. Surgeons tested whether using just one hamstring tendon (semitendinosus) works as well as using two tendons (semitendinosus and gracilis) for the graft. Researchers measured patients' leg strength, knee stability, and function to see if there were differences between the two approaches.
