First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at how the thigh muscle (vastus medialis) is inhibited after an ACL tear. Researchers want to see if the level of muscle inhibition matches a specific classification system. 90 adults with a recent ACL rupture will have their muscle activity measured with surface electrodes and a device that tests muscle stiffness. The goal is to better understand muscle function after injury.
