One leg or two? new study tests best way to rebuild strength after knee surgery
NCT ID NCT07271173
Summary
This study tested whether training one leg at a time works better than training both legs together for people recovering from ACL knee surgery. 48 participants who had surgery at least 3 months earlier were randomly assigned to one of the two training programs for 6 weeks. Researchers measured leg strength, balance, and knee function to see which method helped patients regain strength and symmetry between their legs more effectively.
