Can a special walking beat help Athletes' knees heal better?
NCT ID NCT07243535
Summary
This study is testing if a single session of walking on a treadmill while following visual cues can improve walking patterns and brain-to-muscle signals in athletes who have had ACL knee surgery. Researchers want to see if cues with a natural, varied rhythm work better than a steady, metronome-like beat. The goal is to find new ways to help the brain and body recover after a serious knee injury to potentially lower the risk of getting hurt again.
