Shock therapy for knees: new study tests nerve zaps for ACL recovery

Summary

This study tests if adding a mild electrical pulse to the sciatic nerve can boost recovery after ACL knee surgery. About 62 people will get either standard physical therapy, the nerve stimulation plus therapy, or a fake stimulation. The goal is to see if the nerve zap improves leg strength, muscle activity, and pain relief.
