First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at 30 people who had ACL knee surgery 1 to 4 years earlier to see if muscle strength and mental readiness are linked when deciding to return to sports. Participants did strength tests on a special machine and filled out a questionnaire about their confidence and emotions. The goal was to understand what helps people get back to their sport safely.
