Summary

This study is testing whether a small, absorbable implant containing the steroid oxandrolone can safely help people recover muscle strength and function after ACL knee reconstruction surgery. The implant is placed under the skin and slowly releases medication over 24 weeks. Researchers will compare the implant to a placebo in 96 adults to see if it improves recovery while monitoring for side effects.
