Tight band training: new hope for faster ACL recovery?
NCT ID NCT07384780
Summary
This study is testing two different exercise programs to help people rebuild strength after ACL knee surgery. Researchers want to see if heavy or light strength training—both done with a special thigh cuff that restricts blood flow—works better for improving muscle strength and knee function. The study will include 60 adults who are 8-16 weeks post-surgery and cleared for strength training.
