New bone screw may improve ACL surgery outcomes

Summary
This study compares two types of screws used in ACL reconstruction surgery: a human bone screw and a standard biocomposite screw. The goal is to see if the bone screw reduces bone tunnel widening and lowers the chance of re-injury. About 80 people with a first-time ACL tear will be followed for two years with MRIs, CT scans, and knee function questionnaires.
