Scans reveal hidden knee ligament secrets
NCT ID NCT06996145
Summary
This study used advanced 4D scans to measure how the natural attachment points of the ACL move when the knee bends. Researchers studied 30 healthy volunteers to see if the current standard surgical target is truly optimal for stability. The goal is to use this data to develop better computer software to help surgeons plan more precise and stable ACL reconstructions in the future.
