Summary
This study tested two ways to rebuild a torn ACL using a patient's own hamstring tendons. One method used only the semitendinosus tendon, while the other used both the semitendinosus and gracilis tendons. The goal was to see which approach better preserves leg strength after surgery. 42 people with ACL injuries took part.
