Heel pain surgery showdown: which stitch pattern works best?
NCT ID NCT07323875
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common surgical techniques works better for people with chronic Achilles tendon pain at the heel. Researchers will randomly assign 166 adults who haven't improved with other treatments to receive either a single-row or double-row repair during surgery. They'll track pain, function, and recovery over two years to determine which method provides better long-term results and better value.
