Tourniquet training tested to speed up achilles comeback
NCT ID NCT07131787
Summary
This study is testing if adding blood flow restriction (BFR) training to standard rehab helps people recover better after Achilles tendon surgery. BFR involves using a special cuff during light exercise. Researchers will compare recovery in 82 adults who get either standard rehab or rehab with BFR, checking strength, pain, and tendon healing over a year.
