First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at how well custom-made implants help reposition the lower jaw during surgery. Eight adults with an overbite or underbite had their jaw moved and fixed with a patient-specific implant. Researchers used CT scans to compare the planned position with the actual result, finding that the implants were accurate. The goal was to improve surgical precision for better outcomes.
