Digital smile: study checks if Computer-Planned crowns fit perfectly on day one
NCT ID NCT07315607
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at how accurate a fully digital process is for placing a pre-made dental crown on a new implant the same day. About 27 adults who need a single tooth replaced will get a guided implant and a screw-retained crown made from a digital plan. Researchers will compare the planned position with the actual result using 3D scans to see if the fit is good enough for everyday use.
