New eye lens aims to restore focus after cataract surgery

Summary

This study tests a new type of artificial lens (AAL-FAIOL) that may help the eye focus at different distances after cataract surgery. About 85 adults with cataracts will receive the lens in one or both eyes. Researchers will check for side effects and how well the lens works over time.
